I did it for the humor value. No revocation necessary based on 1) coming up immediately with an excuse 2) the excuse actually being plausible. So, my Man Card stays with me.

nope sorry soup, gonna have to agree with wolfie here, surrender your man card, and until you earn back your card by bringing video proof of the ihop thing, you're only allowed to wear pink shirts with unicorns on them
